Rittmeyer technology in Italian irrigation projects
Rittmeyer Italia supports the Land Reclamation and Irrigation Consortia, public institutions responsible for operating infrastructure for hydraulic safety, flood protection, land reclamation and agricultural irrigation, throughout the country.
As part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) projects, Rittmeyer supplies flow, level and pressure measurement technology, as well as automation systems for the main irrigation canals. These projects aim to promote the digital transformation of water infrastructure, by enabling reliable real-time monitoring to ensure maximum accuracy in water withdrawal and distribution.
Over the last year, Rittmeyer has successfully implemented several projects for public authorities, from northern to southern Italy. These include the Delta del Po, Adige-Po, Pianura Friulana, Emilia Centrale, Marche and Bacino Inferiore del Volturno land reclamation consortia.
